The establishment, today, of the Blue Republican Minnesota chapter brings the number of State chapters to nine (CA, CO, NC, NJ IL, AZ, TN, MI, MN) along with one city chapter (Houston) and one international chapter (Poland).
Here’s a note from our newest chapter chairperson, Juliet Nail.
“I am a linguist and former audio producer who has lived in Minnesota with my husband and children for nine years. I volunteer in a variety of community activities (not all political) and teach fitness classes to older adults.
“While I encountered Robin Koerner’s Huffington Post article, “If You Love Peace, Become a ‘Blue Republican’ (Just for a Year)” quite a while after it was originally written, it was definitely instrumental in my commitment to the anti-war liberty community here in Minnesota. I have been working for peace and freedom here in Minnesota within the political process as well as being active in the local real food movement. Blue Republican’s commitment to transcend parties to further peace, liberty and civil discourse is sorely needed. When I heard Robin in one of his speeches appeal, “What would Love do?”, I knew that Blue Republican’s approach is a great way to inspire people to create peace and freedom one community at a time.”
